  1. ok clearly, the Grove. You can't go to an Ole Miss football game without "groving." it's in the middle of campus, and I would recommend you go the day before, just so you can remember the "before" picture when you see the incredibly crazy tent city the next day. As far as places to go in Oxford, City Grocery is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The shrimp and grits are to die for and one time I saw Morgan Freeman there. Ajax is also great for some home cooking type food, the Big Easy sandwich is a must! Chicken friend steak, mashed potatoes, lima beans, and gravy, all on one sandwich!!! Also, in the middle of the night (aka after you're done for the night) you should go to the Chevron on the corner of Lamar and University Ave (aka Chicken on a Stick) and get.....chicken on a stick. For breakfast, go to Big Bad Breakfast, which is truly the best breakfast I've ever had (make sure you get the fresh squeezed orange juice). and if you're willing to travel a little bit, go to Taylor Grocery, which is technically in Taylor, MS but still an oxford staple. They have the best whole catfish you've had in your life. and the whole town is pretty much that one place. plus A post office and fire station. I know that's a lot of food, but I like to eat. any questions? you know where to find me-

  2. Make sure to take a stroll around the Square. It's the center of town, and many of the abovementioned restaurants, plus lots of boutiques and some art galleries are located in this area.

Oh, and don't forget to check out Rowan Oak, William Faulkner's house. It's a beautiful place!
